About the Nomination
Process

  • The Community Catalyst Award recognizes an individual whose leadership has made a meaningful and lasting impact on the Central Eastside. Whether through advocacy, collaboration, volunteerism, business leadership, placemaking, or community building, this award honors someone who has gone above and beyond to strengthen the district and the people who work, create, and do business here.

  • The nomination deadline is August 28, 2026.

    • Be affiliated with a business or organization physically located within the Central Eastside Industrial District.

    • Demonstrate a meaningful contribution to the Central Eastside through leadership, service, advocacy, innovation, or collaboration.

    • Have made an impact that extends beyond their own business.

  • The recipient will be recognized at the Annual District Celebration on Tuesday, December 8, where they will receive the Community Catalyst Award and be honored alongside fellow business leaders.
