The Words Will Come
Experience a movement-driven play about dyslexia, belonging, and finding your voice. The play follows an follows Sheila, an Iranian-American navigating a school system that misunderstands how she thinks, feels, and learns. Rather than explaining dyslexia, the story lets you feel it through sound, projection, movement, and design.
All Black Everything: A Black Improv Showcase
Get ready for a night of Black Joy and big laughs at Kickstand Comedy. This special event celebrates wins and community, with a tried and true lineup of Black comedians as your guides. Featuring members of Brown Sugar, Ohh La La, Mosaic Complex, S.L.O.P., Oprah's Book Club, and more for a night of comedy you won't soon forget.
Audrey McCall Beach Splashdown
Cool off at one of Portland's newest riverside hangouts, tucked along the Eastbank Esplanade between the Hawthorne Bridge and OMSI. Take in views of downtown and the sunset, dip into the river, and make an evening of it. Bring a chair, towel, river shoes, and a friend. Accessible by foot, bike, or car with plenty of free street parking nearby.

We're taking to the streets of the Central Eastside with SOLVE, teaming up with HappyLucky to spruce up their block ahead of Certified Freak, their Pride block party happening July 18. Come be part of the action! Volunteer as an individual or round up your colleagues and come as a team. The more hands, the bigger the impact.

As a thank you for volunteering, we'll have water and snacks available. Registration is required, so lock in your spot below. If you're bringing coworkers, create a team registration first and use our Teams Guide to get everyone signed up together.

What to Know Before You Go:
All cleanup supplies provided.
Closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing required. A backpack and reusable water bottle are highly recommended.
Parking nearby includes off-street 2-hour, Zone N and G street parking, and paid lots. TriMet and Streetcar routes serve the area.
Restrooms available inside HappyLucky.
Spanish language support will be available.

Portland Festival of Cinema, Animation & Technology
PFCAT brings together filmmakers from around the globe and cinema lovers for a dynamic celebration of storytelling and creativity. Held at OMSI in the Empirical Theater, Theory, Kendall Planetarium, and auditorium, the festival features screenings for all ages, educational talks about animation, and engaging discussions to inspire and inform.
Attendees can also enjoy parties and networking events throughout Portland’s Central Eastside at local favorites like Wayfinder Beer and Jupiter Next, making it a vibrant cultural experience for the city’s creative community. The 2026 event will be taking place for 5 days from August 19th - 23rd.

ADX 7th Annual Summer Skate Deck Show
