About
The CEIC was notified by Multnomah County of its plans to open a 24/7 sobering center at 1901 SE Grand Avenue. In response, the CEIC is actively engaging in conversations with the County and surrounding businesses to ensure that this development aligns with land use and zoning regulations, maintains a safe and clean environment, and is accompanied by transparent communication and meaningful community engagement.

A Board Briefing is coming up on April 17, 2025, where the Department of County Assets will be presenting. The public is welcome to simply attend or watch remotely. You can learn how to give testimony here or go directly to submitting public testimony on the Public Testimony Webform. If interpretation is needed, please email boardclerk@multco.us 48 hours in advance of the meeting.

The Sobering and Crisis Stabilization Center website has new updates as of Tuesday, April 8, 2025 and includes the printable resources provided at the March 20 event.
