CEIC Appoints Nine Members to Board of Directors

The Central Eastside Industrial Council has added nine directors to its board after being unanimously voted in at the CEIC’s annual members meeting in December 2023.

“These new board members bring a diverse range of skills, experiences, and enthusiasm, promising to inject fresh perspectives into the strategic direction of Central Eastside,” said Art Fortuna, CEIC Board Chair. “We believe that the heart of any thriving community is its leadership, and we're thrilled to introduce more dynamic leaders at our board table – we’re excited to roll up our sleeves and get stuff done!”

Joining CEIC’s Board to continue its mission of creating a vibrant, prosperous, safe, and welcoming District are:

Established in 1980, the Central Eastside Industrial Council (CEIC) was created to champion the interests of member businesses within the Central Eastside Industrial District (CEID or "District"), and exists today to advance the business interests of its members by advocating for a vibrant, prosperous, safe and welcoming District. Encompassing the area from I-84 to Powell Blvd and the Waterfront to 12th Ave, the Central Eastside Industrial District spans 681 acres and is home to 1,300 businesses, employing 22,000 individuals and housing 2,000 residents. This district is officially recognized as an Urban Renewal and Enhanced Services District.
