Executive Holcomb testifies regarding the Implementation of HB 4002

After the county announced plans to locate the temporary Deflection Center in the Central Eastside at 900 SE Sandy Blvd, Executive Director Holcomb joined others in expressing their concerns after the county’s leasing came as a surprise to the residents and business community. In their testimony and subsequent letter, the CEIC demanded that the County 1) develop a transparent operational plan, 2) require registration, tracking, and accountability, and 3) develop a GNA.
