Central Eastside Industrial Council Presents: Bloom Tour Debut and Spring Market

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Portland, OR – May 1, 2024 – Get ready to explore the vibrant energy of the Central Eastside as we join the Bloom Tour, adding a fresh dimension to Portland's iconic Rose Festival from Saturday, May 11th to Tuesday, June 11th, 2024. On this side of the Willamette River, the Bloom Tour will highlight unique collaborations between Central Eastside shops and local florists, including Cargo x Vibrant Flowers, Smith Teamaker x Tulip Cowboy, and Westward Whiskey x Botanical Cravings. The installations will be located at each corresponding retailer where these imaginative partnerships promise to infuse the district with creativity and botanical wonder.

Central Eastside celebrates its debut in the Bloom Tour with its Spring Market, a lively pop-up event at the Water Avenue Showroom (1010 Water Avenue, Suite 105) on Saturday, May 11th, from 11 am to 6 pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a curated selection of vendors, including Cargo, Glasshaus, Kabinett, Orange Pippens, Sacred Elements, and Straightaway Cocktails, offering unique items that capture the vibrant spirit of Central Eastside. In addition to browsing unique wares, visitors may purchase various original items including art prints, paintings, cards, and stickers from local artists Kate Blairstone, Julz Clementine, and Lynzee Lynx.

Adding to the excitement, there will be an all-day hands-on collage workshop led by Stamp Gurlz’s Calli Rampton, offering participants the chance to unleash their creativity in a vibrant and festive setting. Additionally, from 12 pm to 1 pm, indulge in a rejuvenating Plant Spa experience, curated by Sacred Elements. For just $20, attendees can select a pot and plant for potting while immersing themselves in insightful knowledge about plant tonics aimed at nurturing and revitalizing greenery. Supplies for the Plant Spa are limited, so early arrival is recommended. Stay tuned for more exciting workshop announcements coming soon!

"We're thrilled to be part of the Bloom Tour and to showcase the vibrant energy of Central Eastside," said Carolyne Holcomb, Executive Director at Central Eastside Industrial Council.
