Multnomah County, Ore. (July 31, 2026) — The Providence Bridge Pedal event next weekend will impact traffic on several bridges maintained by Multnomah County. 

Beginning in September of 2026, all lanes of I-5 southbound will close 24 hours, 7 days a week, for up to 5 weeks. Plan ahead; significant delays and unpredictable travel times

The Central Eastside parking permit program (covering Zone N and G permits) is designed to balance several priorities: ensuring reliable parking access for employees who must work on-site, supporting turnover in retail and commercial corridors, and aligning with the City of Portland’s broader transportation goals, including reducing single-occupancy vehicle trips into the district.
