Hawthorne Bridge to Close in Early April for Maintenance
TRAFFIC ALERT: The Hawthorne Bridge will close to all motorized vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians on several days in early April for work to install new gear that controls opening and closing of the bridge.
April 2-3
On Wednesday, April 2, and Thursday, April 3, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day, the Hawthorne Bridge will be closed to all motorized vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians for installation work.
April 5-6
On Saturday, April 5, and Sunday, April 6, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day, the Hawthorne Bridge will be closed to all motorized vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians to test the new operating system.
This work is not weather dependent.
